Though sponsors are encouraged to adopt talents in their sports of choice, His Excellency, Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN), Governor of Lagos State has approved for a pilot study, the following sports disciplines,

• Athletics – 100m. 200m. 400m. (4 x 100m 4 x 400m Relays)
• Soccer/Beach Soccer
• Basketball
• Volleyball/Beach Volleyball
• Boxing
• Table Tennis

Others sports involved in the program are listed in the annexure to this write up.

It is important to point out, at this juncture, that in the wider concept of this program, sponsors, depending on available funds, could adopt

• A single athlete
• A team or multiple athletes
• A sport or sporting event
• A school/club or school sports

There is need to emphasize here, that the program, which is all-year-round, is designed not only to develop these talents into elite athletes, but to build them into wholesome personalities – ambassadors for state and country, and role models for the younger ones.

Sponsors are expected to be responsible individuals, associations and corporate bodies with known or proven positive track records in their field of endeavour and unblemished integrity.
Sponsors are required to be responsible for some or all of the below listed areas

• Sports kitting of athlete (sport dependent)
• Trainers/ Coaches stipends
• Athletes pocket money for transportation and clothing.
• Financial support for education to highest attainable level.
• Can engage or nominate manager for athlete with consent of C.WC.
• With parent guardian consent can have talent live at location of choice
• Arrange special or extra lessons for athlete where necessary in lieu of training & competition demands on athletes.
